Rotary lipseals & spring energized lip seals
Rotary lipseals and Static spring energized lipseals are widely used in various industries and applications. As the rotary lipseals are commonly used for rotating equipment as pumps and agitators, the static spring energized seals are commonly used on high pressure static/dynamic applications as valves and reciprocating rod applications.
Rotary lip seals
Rotary seals, also known as oil seals, lip seals and radial shaft seals are mounted between rotating and stationary components in motion. The rotary seal consist two basic parts. One is the cylindrical outer cover that seals the boring of a (gland) housing. The second part is a sealing device, called (sealing) lip, which seals dynamically and/or statically against a shaft.
SealTec has an a wide range of rotary lip seals in different materials which are resistant against all fluids (chemicals) and high temperatures and pressures.
Static spring energized lip seals
Static (spring energized) lip seals are static/dynamic U-cup seals with made from different thermoplastic materials. Suitable for high pressures and temperatures. Most used material is PTFE, however various materials are used to stand against pressures and temperatures.
Spring energized seals have different spring configurations in various materials.
SealTec has an a wide range spring energized lip seals in different materials which are resistant against all fluids (chemicals) and high temperatures and pressures. The spring energized seals can be supplied with the most common V-spring, or with a spiral or helical spring
